Refugees – we welcome the thousands of homeless refugees that arrive to Canada.
There is no system in place to assist them and hence they sometimes spend their first night in Canada literally on the street or at rough homeless shelters. Despite having reached a safe country, they are at risk of being victimized and re-traumatized. The Universe of God serves this group of very vulnerable refugee claimants.
We welcome all refugees regardless of their race, religion, sexual orientation or political opinion. We strive to make the Universe of God foster a place where the love is felt and experienced and where refugee’s dignity and hope are restored.

Aboriginal People – The First Nation people are welcome!
The Univers of God Foster Houses assists First nation people – those who ask for asylum. We help whole families with children as well as homeless aboriginal orphans.
Aboriginal children have access to valuable cultural resources but often suffer due to poverty, community isolation, lack of social services infrastructure and higher living costs. When an investigation is triggered, First Nations children are five times more likely to be investigated and 12 times more likely to be placed in foster care than non-First Nations children.
